General Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS BED & BREAKFAST DE FITSELSTEK.

Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” uses the following general conditions. These are valid from the moment of reservation up to and including the stay in our B&B.

1. General

General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek”, Oude Postelseweg 32, 5521 RT Eersel By entering into a rental agreement, these General Terms and Conditions become effective.

1.1. Upon request, a copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided free of charge to users;

1.2. Tenants must have a permanent place of residence;

1.3. The owner is not liable for any damage, loss or theft of

1.4. All risks related to a stay in Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” and the use of the Jacuzzi are at the expense of the users;

1.5. Damages and losses of movable and immovable property of the owner must be immediately reported and compensated by the users to the owner;

1.6. Guests must follow instructions from the owner;

1.7. The owner may, in the event of a breach of these General Terms and Conditions and in the event of inappropriate behaviour, deny and/or refuse access to Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” with immediate effect, without further notification and stating reasons, and without refund of accommodation costs;

1.8. The owner’s administration is decisive in case of mutual disagreement unless the users can prove otherwise;

1.9 Guests of Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” must comply with the following Internal Regulations;

1.10 Mieke van Maanen is the owner and manager of Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek”, hereafter referred to as owner. The owner may be replaced.

2. Reservation and confirmation

2.1. When booking a stay in Bed & Breakfast “De fitselstek” no extra costs will be charged;

2.2. The rental agreement can be entered into via a booking site, website, verbally, by telephone, in writing and by e-mail;

2.3. Upon receipt of your reservation request, Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” will send a confirmation (subject to availability) and the reservation will be final;

2.4. Our reservation confirmations refer to these General Terms and Conditions.

3. Betaling particulieren

3.1. De verblijfskosten in Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek” dienen bij aankomst contant, per pin of bij vooruitbetaling te worden voldaan. Het is niet mogelijk deze aan het einde van het verblijf te voldoen;

3.2. De eigenaar kan in overleg met de gebruiker van deze voorwaarden afwijken. Bij een reservering vanaf 4 dagen en langer, kan de eigenaar een aanbetaling vragen van 50% van de overeengekomen huurprijs.

3.3. De tarieven vindt u o.a. terug op onze website.

4. Payment business

4.1. The accommodation costs in B&B “De Fitselstek” must be paid in cash or by PIN upon arrival. In consultation, it is possible to pay by invoice. These invoices must be paid within 7 days.

5. Cancellation and no show (not coming without notice)

5.1. In the unlikely event that you are unable to honour the rental agreement entered into, you must report this to us as soon as possible so that we can still offer the date that has fallen vacant to third parties;

5.2. In case of cancellation and no show, the contracting party will pay a fee to the owner;

5.3. This fee consists of:

5.3.1. Up to one week before the commencement date of the rental, cancellation is free of charge;

5.3.2. For cancellation within 1 week before commencement date, 50% of the amount is due as a fee;

5.3.3. For cancellation within 2 days before commencement date, 75% of the amount is due as a fee.

5.3.4. In case of cancellation and no show on the day itself 100% of the amount is due;

The amount due under points 5.3.2., 5.3.3. and 5.3.4. must be transferred to the bank account number NL87 KNAB 0405967977 in the name of B&B “De Fitselstek”. You will receive an invoice. You must pay this invoice within 7 days. When an advance payment has been made by the contracting party, this will be reimbursed by the owner in proportion to the above.

6. Use of rental bikes

6.1. B&B “De Fitselstek” has 2 simple loan bicycles available for you. Use of these is free of charge. These bicycles are in good condition and should also be left like that. Use of the bicycles is at your own risk;

6.2. The contracting party is obliged to lock the bicycles with the locks provided. Loss of keys is at the expense of the contracting party (€ 25,- per key) and will be paid by the contracting party upon check-out in cash or by invoice afterwards.

7. Key B&B

7.1. As a guest you will receive a key to the B&B. You must return this key on departure. As a guest, you are responsible for correctly locking the entrance door to the B&B;

7.2. Loss of the key is at the expense of the contracting party (€ 75,-) and will be paid by the contracting party upon check-out in cash or by invoice.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival you can use your accommodation from 3 pm. On the day of departure your accommodation must be vacated by 10.30. Deviations from the above times are only possible after consultation. There will be no refunds for early departures.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served by arrangement between 07:30 and 09:30.

Your stay

Noise pollution, especially between 22:00 and 07:00, must be avoided. Use of the accommodation by third parties is not allowed. Visitors are not allowed to spend the night in the Bed & Breakfast without permission of the manager and without extra payment. Vehicles can be parked on the parking lot near the B&B on the driveway. Garbage must be deposited in the garbage container. The presence of suspicious persons should be reported immediately to the owner. Pets are not allowed in Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek”. Smoking is not permitted in Bed & Breakfast “De Fitselstek”. Smoking is allowed in the garden.
